"Ignorant Suicide"
"Ignorant Suicide"Only three matches remain. The final sunset on this lovely imitation “Fresh Air” candle is imminent. Terra is on her knees pleading for this agonizing torture to end. What kind of person are you? Are you the kind of coward that in the face of such destruction picks up the match once more? Or are you brave enough to suck down that deadly toxic air you’ve created and once and for all blow out the damn candle?

"Ignorant Suicide"
"Ignorant Suicide"A thick billowing cloud of acid envelops Terra like a pillow suffocating her face. She desperately gasps for air. Her body is being scorched and scalded from the inside out. As the poison fills her lungs the agony begins to race through Terra’s veins like an uncontrollable wildfire. Even at this point, wherein death is imminent and almost inevitable, you continue to smother Terra. You fools! Only once death overtakes her barren corpse will you realize what you’ve done! A black void now conquers the light forever.  You look up. A thick billowing cloud of acid envelops you like a pillow suffocating your face. For a second, you inhale in terror … and you begin to burn.
"Addictive Ritual"
"Addictive Ritual"Addictive Ritual I park my butt on my favorite stool at the breakfast bar. Second stool from the door to be exact. One of my friendly coffee shop buds is there to greet me with a smile, placing my Grande Usual in front of me. Exchanging a “Thank you” for my liquid creativity, we talk about our days. The cup emits warmth through my left hand, coursing up my arm into my brain like a surge of electricity. This triggers a chain reaction. My mouth begins to salivate. Next thing I know, my left hand is pressing the cup against my lips. I take a sip. Hints of cardamom, cinnamon, and honey hit my tongue. The Grande Usual takes hold of me. Eyes dilate. Neck hairs stand like a static shock. The light bulb hovering above flickers on. Ideas begin to flow like free electrons. My right hand jolts, picking up the Bic pen. My right hand begins to strike the sketch pad with concepts like bolts of lightning. One after another, each idea getting louder. Counting the seconds between each strike, getting closer to a subject matter. -A new series?  rumble…-Something Relatable.  RUMBLE…-Addictions and/or Temptations?-Caffeine  BANG!-Sex  CRASH!-Money  SNAP!-Drugs  ROAR!-Work  CRACK!-What does it look like to be possessed by temptation’s power?? "The Journey"
"The Journey"It's been an amazing experience to live in St. Pete! I've felt so at peace this last month, since I made the big move. Amazing art, friendly people, food from all over, and so much entertainment. I am on the journey to enlightenment. I've been learning it's not about the destination, life is about the journey. We all know our destination, so live it up while you're still here!

“Fragmented Reality”
“Fragmented Reality”Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet, and playwright. Picasso spent most of his adult life in France. He is regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. He was born on October 25, 1881 and died on April 8, 1973 at the age of 91.Picasso is known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage, and the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore. Unlike a traditional still-life, landscape, or portrait painting, Cubist paintings aren’t meant to be realistic or life-like in any way. Instead, after looking at the subject from every possibly angle, the artist will piece together fragments from different vantage points into one painting. Each time Picasso fell in love with a new woman, he invented a new style. The autobiographical nature of Picasso's art is reinforced by his habit of dating his works, often to the exact day. "I want to leave to posterity a documentation that will be as complete as possible. That's why I put a date on everything I do."It has been estimated that Picasso created 50,000 works of art. These works are comprised of 1,885 paintings; 1,228 sculptures; 2,880 ceramics, roughly 12,000 drawings, thousands of prints, and numerous tapestries and rugs.In 2015 Picasso’s 1955 painting “Les femmes d’Alger” was sold to an unknown buyer for $179.4 million. This is now the most expensive purchase of Picasso’s work.  Pablo Picasso achieved universal success and immense fortune for his revolutionary artistic accomplishments, becoming one of the best-known figures in 20th-century art. REFERENCE: "Dora Maar" – Portrait de Pablo Picasso 1936Picasso and Dora had a complex personal and artistic relationship.Dora’s photography and her experimental techniques were a source of inspiration to Picasso. He began to take photographs of Dora. These were the catalyst for a whole series of works that blended photography with printmaking in an entirely new manner.
"Heads in the Clouds"
"Heads in the Clouds"Orville and Wilbur Wright were two American brothers from Millville, Indiana. The Wright Brothers are credited with inventing, building, and flying the first airplane. Although not the first to build and fly experimental aircraft, the Wright brothers were the first to invent aircraft controls that made fixed-wing powered flight possible. On December 17, 1903 four miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, they made the first controlled sustained flight. Orville piloted the gasoline- powered, propeller-driven biplane. Orville flew the airplane for a total of 12 seconds and covered 120 feet. That was no small feat. The Brothers’ primary breakthrough was their invention of the three-axis control(yaw, pitch, and roll). This allowed the pilot to steer the aircraft effectively and maintain balance. This method remains a standard on fixed-wing aircrafts of all kinds.By the fall of 1905, the Wright Brothers developed their third powered airplane. On October 5, Wilbur made an incredible flight in which he circled the field 30 times in 39 minutes for a total distance of 24.5 miles. On February 5, 2017, the longest non-stop scheduled airline flight to date is Qatar Airways Flight 921 from Auckland New Zealand to Doha, Qatar and its return Flight 921. The total distance was 14,534 km (7,332 nmi) and it took 17 hours and 40 minutes. There are over 102,000 flights a day world wide, thats more 37,000,000 flights a year! Even as a visionaries, the Wright Brothers could not see the extent of what they created. “No flying machine will ever fly from New York to Paris.” - Orville Wright
"Playboy Philosophy"
"Playboy Philosophy"Hugh Hefner single handedly changed the way we think about sex. "The major civilizing force in the world is not religion, it is sex." He wanted to create a magazine that catered to intellectual men and feature more provocative imagery. Hefner wore many hats when developing his brand. He spent countless hours overseeing every department of his magazine, making sure each detail was flawless. The company had many hardships, fighting the court system with censorship and people lashing out about sexuality and exploitation. As Playboy fought back, they continued to grow. The company got into new ventures. Things like Television, movies, internet, clubs, and resorts. Now Hefner has slowed down, giving the reins to his children to run the company. He actively donates to causes like the Drug Policy Alliance, Planned Parenthood, and Children of the Night.
"Eureka"
"Eureka"Thomas Edison had such drive for innovation. Edison's philosophy of failure wasn't one of negative connotation, he was just a step closer to succeeding. "I have not failed, I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." In his 84 years, Edison acquired a record number of 1,093 patents. He is most known for the phonograph, the incandescent light bulb and one of the earliest motion picture cameras. He was one bright man!
"Self Portrait"
"Self Portrait"Walt Disney was a dreamer. He was also an entrepreneur, animator, voice actor, and film producer. To this day, Walt Disney remains the central figure in the history of animation. His team of artists, including the legendary Nine Old Men, a group of supervising animators responsible for the creation of some of the most iconic characters in cinema history, created and refined the 12 Basic Principles of Animation. These techniques have been immortalized in “The Illusion of Life: Disney Animation”, a book authored by two of the Nine Old Men, Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnson. If you’re an aspiring artist, you MUST read this book! These principles serve as both the backbone and heart of each and every successful Disney cartoon, including those of today as these very same lessons translate seamlessly to computer animation as well. Walt Disney went from creating the small time “Laugh-O-Gram Studio," a short-lived cell animation studio in Kansas City that went bankrupt, to co-founding the "The Walt Disney Company” in 1923, an entity which still exists today the third largest media conglomerate in the world by revenue. "I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse." -Walt Disney.
"Behind the Mask"
"Behind the Mask"Adolf Hitler was undoubtedly an egocentric and sadistic man. He is responsible for the death of 11 million people during the Holocaust. Hitlers vision was to have a Master Race of Aryans controlling Europe. Hitler had an extremely powerful way of using propaganda to convince not only the German people, but countless others. "If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed." These believers were told if they eliminated the people who stood in their way, the degenerates and racial inferior, they- the great Germans would live prosperously.
"I Can See Right Through You"
"I Can See Right Through You"Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen was a modest german mechanical engineer and experimental physicist. On November 8th 1895, Röntgen produced and detected electromagnetic radiation in a wavelength known as X-rays or Röntgen rays. "I am not a phroet, and I'm opposed to prophesying. I am pursuing my investigations, and as fast as my results are verified I shall make them public." This achievement earned him the very first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901. In honor of his accomplishments, in 2004 the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) named element 111, Röntgenium, a radioactive element with multiple unstable isotopes, after him. Today, in the Untied States alone, there are approximately 34,000 radiologists diagnosing and treating injuries through the use of medical techniques, including X-rays.
"Evolve"
"Evolve" Charles Darwin was an ambitious man. Darwin traveled the globe for 5 years collecting research for his theory on Natural Selection. He theorized that when a species that successfully adapted to meet the changes of the natural habitat thrived, while those that failed to evolve and reproduce died off. With all the evidence that has been gathered through modern science proving Darwin's theory, creationists still don't believe in evolution.
